The Eggental, and particularly Carezza, is a real Eldorado for active holidaymakers. A total of 530 km well marked trails await you, from leisurely forest walks to challenging peaks. Whether you are going on a family friendly short tour along a forest path or doing breakneck jumps over roots and rocks, you will find what you are looking for here!

Experience the Rose Garden

At the end of May 2021 there will be a new highlight on the Rose Garden which will enchant you. Five new cable cars will be put into operation.

The new cablecars Welschnofen, Paolina, King Laurin and chairlift Tschein are connected to each other and thus enable a gently mobile and, above all, atuofree connection between the valley and the mountain.

The absolute highlight is the "invisible" mountain station of the King Laurin cable car at the Cologne Hut. Designed by South Tyrolean star architect Werner Tscholl, the stations integrate perfectly into the landscape and guarantee a completely new experience in the Dolomites. Only the entrance and exit caves of the cable car are visible, which can be reached underground via an access tunnel.

The well-known legend of King Laurin served as inspiration for this architectural masterpiece. Come with us on a discovery voyage and let yourself be enchanted by the myths of the Rose Garden.

He is happy to take you to the Latemar Hut (Pisa Hut), made famous by this film, via the Gamsstallscharte, or on another of the countless guided tours on offer, for instance the idyllic Karersee, probably the most magical photo motif of the Eggental. And not to forget the equipment! Hiking and Nordic walking sticks as well as various hiking maps can be rented directly from the hotel. Additional accessories and modern mountain bikes and e-bikes can be purchased or rented at the nearby sports shops, which are happy to deliver the purchases to the hotel.
